I wrote it late into the ice fishing season last year. I hope this some guys out has they are shopping for a new line this season.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>So this winter I wanted to really give this line a run down. So I filled up all of my Panfish rods with it. I went with 3lb test in both the Clear and the Hi-vis Orange. One of the biggest problems with mono during the winter time is that the line will soak up water which will build up with ice and become very stiff and unfishable. For a long time <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Berkley-Trilene-Micro-Fishing-4-Pound\/dp\/B001PA7AHK?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=outinm-20&amp;link_code=btl&amp;camp=213689&amp;creative=392969\" target=\"_blank\">Trilene Micro Ice<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=outinm-20&amp;l=btl&amp;camp=213689&amp;creative=392969&amp;o=1&amp;a=B001PA7AHK\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/> has been the standard that all other brands are measured by.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Well finally a line can match up! It also has improved upon mirco ice in two places, and that is abrasion resistance, and water absorption. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Sufix%C2%AE-Magic-Line-NEON-TANGERINE\/dp\/B000M4Q3TG?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=outinm-20&amp;link_code=btl&amp;camp=213689&amp;creative=392969\" target=\"_blank\">Sufix<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=outinm-20&amp;l=btl&amp;camp=213689&amp;creative=392969&amp;o=1&amp;a=B000M4Q3TG\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/> has Designed it to be a very supple line , yet tough, which is a hallmark of their lines to date in the Soft water choices. They have helped reduce the amount of water that&#8217;s soaked up by the line by adding special additives to the line that deters water absorption. They also claim the Ice Magic will sink fast for you for a more natural presentation.
