My husband and I decided not to exchange gifts for Christmas.  We seem to get everything we want throughout the year anyway.  So, after Christmas they were having lots of sales at the stores.  We went in to buy a new sled, gloves, and hats for our nieces and accidentally wandered over to the gun section.  I knew that would be a fatally expensive error, but I did it anyway.  There on the shelf was a 20 gauge over and under calling out my name.  So, of course I had to pull it up, see how it felt and I liked it quite a bit, mistake number 2 for the day.  Now the salesman is reminding me it is on sale and they have a coupon for $10 off in the new hunting synopsis.  That just put me over the edge and I had to do it.  Our quick trip for a snow sled, and accessories flew out the window, and now I was getting my new gun.  I am anxious to use it, since our woman’s bird hunt is coming up.  I need to go have the stock cut down, and then I should be ready.  I sold my Beretta, and this new Stoeger’s stock is almost as nice as my expensive Beretta.  However, I spent half as much on this over and under to see if I like it.  If I do, maybe then I will go out and get a bit nicer one, but I think I could be very pleased with this one.
