Recently I post up a three part series on fishing bigwater perch. I was up at the a DWF meeting and I had a few people come up and talk to me. The topic of the nights presention was perching Lake Eire and the Detroit river.
So I thought I would re-post up the three part Series I wrote on the topic about a month ago.If you have never tried fishing yellow perch your missing out.
Part One:
Bigwater Perch Fishing 101 – Rods, Reels, & Line
Part Two:
Bigwater Perch 101 – Live bait: knowing your minnows and minnow care
Part Three:
Big Water Perch – Rigs, Lures, & Boat control
Also to go along with this topic I also wrote up a piece on a rig that I have had a hand in designing this fall. This rig is killer on perch you really need to try it out this year. I have seen the amount of Jumbos I have caught gone way up since going this rig. This is also a great rig for fishing plastics also. I will cover that a bit further in the near future in a blog.So check out the link below.
