Hunting season is finally over this was the longest one in several years. I spent most of August guiding float trips for brown bear on the Skwentna River then headed down to the Gulf of Alaska to Icy Bay to guide some more brown bear and moose hunts.

We saw a lot of moose moving through these guys won’t be legal for a few more years. In one day we watched over a dozen bulls wander through.

We saw a lot of brown bear activity along the beach these were taken on the east side of Icy Bay. The people track was a size 12 boot we never saw him but we sure were looking for him.
